In a world where Anthros are outcasted by humans, Petra and Alesha find it hard surviving in a world made for mankind. The two sisters mask their anthro figure with some sort of glamor, making them seem normal to the human eye. Working as a cop and a waitress, they face the hardship of keeping there job and their secret safe. But with each day passing, they face the horrible possibility of being caught. Everything changes when they meet Jake, someone just like them, who offers to take them to a safe place... but can he be trusted?

A Number of Wrong Turns
Being given the task of investigating Nevada's bordello's should be the dream job of any young man. But Faré isn't an ordinary young man and this particular brothel has more than lace behind the curtains. The clientele isn't human, but then, neither is his girlfriend, employer or closest friend; he's not a bigot. The problem is that the bordello is being operated by the Andskoti, a group of aliens who don't have the best of intentions for the human race. They're also strong, smart and the fact that they look human makes catching them a whole lot harder. That's a lot to land in the hands of an 18 year old. Fortunately, he's only expected to find them; once he has, Linith, Rheda and Ayjer can come in and clean house. But there is a snag in the plan. Faré has the worst kind of luck. (This was a semi-challenge on my part, to see if I could write a short story. I set myself a target of 7000 words and... failed miserably. Nonetheless, it's a fun tale and the kind of lighthearted style I've been trying to get back into for a while. I hope you enjoy)Complete

"Do I smell like your mate?" I questioned knowing he had no answer for that. "You're hiding it" "Really!" I looked surprised but that made Drake angry. "Let's go for sparks then" he tried to grabbed my hand but Josh pushed me behind him. "Are you trying to touch someone else's mate, Alpha?" Josh asked. "Josh!" Others shouted and Drake growled loudly, his eyes turning black. And he looked at me with those eyes. "Just remember Elly! I asked you nicely" with that he turned and stormed out of the library, others following him behind. ________________________________________ Elly was a quiet and smart girl who had a promising future as a doctor. Her mother being a famous and respected doctor in the werewolf society she had only one dream and it was to become a doctor like her mom. What else she could do other than hiding when she knew he was not going to let her go no matter what. The future Alpha Drake waited his whole life for his mate and it only made him angry when he figured out that his mate was hiding from him.
