His mountain world of Tuberaland and the world of his friends in the valley are threatened by an ancient evil intent in destroying or enslaving all. The struggle takes him to the forests and the valley farms, then on to the rough mining town and silver mines where his alliance of panthers, men and condors fight to save their world. Baggy comes of age transforming himself from a charming, endearing creature, a dreamer, into a powerful war leader. His destiny awaits him in a chilling climax.
