I smirked a little as I divulged, "You think so?"
Then everything went south. He just looked at me with this dazed look for what felt like days!

I instantly was creeped out.

But what really topped it off was when he grabbed my arm and put my back against the wall. I was cornered and he started leaning over me with his face so close to mine. Atticus looked me dead in the eyes.
With a smirk on his lips and a gleam in his eyes full of mischief, he said the words that sealed my fate in this school forever.
