Lost in the woods after her parents died on a camping trip, 5 year old Bella wonders through looking for food and shelter. After a few short days of searching, she meets Esme who takes Bella to her house to care for her. Not fond of the idea, the others try and convince Esme to bring Bella to an orphanage or somewhere other than there. After meeting Bella for the first time, Rosalie quickly changes her mind and becomes protective over Bella like a mother.

Will Esme find the person she has been waiting for or will it all be false hope? Will Esme ever find the love she wants or will she continue to be lonely.
