One ordinary girl, living two extraordinary lives.

Patch McClellan had always been average; she had an average social life, an average boyfriend, average grades, average drama in life, an average face, and an overall average life--and she prided herself in that. Yet one day, she receives a call from a stranger she met a few days back, asking for her to impersonate his girlfriend in exchange for a huge amount of cash and helping her achieve her dream of becoming an actress.

Patch soon finds herself living the life of a living guy's dead girlfriend, with no one but the loyal butler's knowing.

Will she be able to keep up the act long enough for her to achieve her dream? Which begs the question, what will happen to her if her secret is exposed?

And to make matters worse, what was she doing falling in love with her fake boyfriend when she's supposed to love her real boyfriend?

Her world's slowly being torn apart, yet she's determined to patch things up.
