In the world of The Families hundreds upon thousands of different mythological beings and creatures of all kinds reside, at one time the humans and other creatures lived in peace, but as most stories go, things changed. The humans decided it wouldn't be safe anymore if they just casually lived with the other creatures and had taken the grave action of driving them out, killing the beautiful beings, and enslaving some. now it's more modern and the people still look at the foreign beings with distain and scorn, and an over al dislike. though that doesn't mean there isn't a balance between the two, there are in-fact beings crossed between the two, though they don't seem like monsters, and that's why they're considered special. no one has yet decided whether they should join society, be out cast, killed, enslaved, or straight up caged forever. though these 4 special people have a cause in this story which will be reviled along the way...

Wolfless, Mateless, Voiceless
Harmony Maddison, the average werewolf 15 year old going onto 16, at this time she is supposed to shift, but didn't. Her pack- her family become bullies and she feels like she's been degraded to the omega, until one day, a small group of 3 new were wolfs show up at her school to whisk her away to a happier place, or so they thought. A murderous pack trespassed onto their land and took one after another down, soon enough, Harmony was surrounded by blood of her friends, lifeless bodies surrounded her. She was kept alive but not for pleasant reasons as the alpha of the murderous pack, Alpha Dominic decided to keep her as a punching bag for his anger. She becomes malnourished, weak and mute. After about 2 and a half years of dealing with this Alpha Dominic someone whisks her away again as her second mate as she was rejected before. They have their ups and downs but nothing is compared to what they have in stored, the new roller coaster they must ride to have a happily ever after, if you can call it that. I know the book starts slow, that's how I wanted it to be, to build to the exciting parts. It may be a drag, I know but it'll be worth it when the book speeds up with the roller coaster that Harmony has to ride, so to speak. Give it time and it'll spike your interest. The Splice of The Realms
In a world divided into four groups, there is a role for everyone. Every group has their own realm found in each corner of the country they share. The top right corner has the largest population. There lives the people of the Mystery Realm (M.R.) They're the police force, detectives and prosecutors. They're the only realm which carries weapons of any kind. However, they don't kill. While they do value law and order, they don't like violence and tend to avoid it. The bottom left corner has the second largest population. The people there are born with unique powers. They're called the Supernatural Realm (S.R.) They tend to be optimistic and stubborn. They value relationships and would do anything to keep the people they love safe. The top left and bottom right corners are tied in regards to population, however, that is the only thing they share in common. These two realms couldn't be more different. In the top left corner is the society of the Technologically Enhanced Realm (T.E.R.) The people here develop technology the other realms could only dream of. They don't socialize with others and tend to keep to themselves. They understand complex equations and theories, however, they have a hard time understanding human emotion. Finally, in the bottom right corner lives the peaceful and happy people of the Primitive Harmony Realm (P.H.R.) The people here lead a simple life and believe in nature and its gifts. Because of that, they were blessed with healing abilities and elemental gifts. Additionally, the herbs they grow are just as magical as the people themselves. Their carefree and charismatic tendencies cause them to always believe the best in people, even when they shouldn't.
