TRIGGER WARNING: 
- characters reference the suicide of another character a lot and flashbacks may be triggering
- there's no self harm or suicide attempted by characters in the "present" time frame of the fic, but characters do experience forms of depression and anxiety

there are so many triggering fics out there that involve suicidal characters and i really wanted to write a fic that shows the impact on other people once someone commits suicide. it might sound a bit strange but i guess that i just really want everyone to know what people experience when a loved one dies. there are too many fanfics out there that just trigger people but i wanted to write something that maybe might help people see another perspective on a situation. i want each and every one of you to know that if you were gone, you will be missed and it affects all of us a lot more than you think. i love you all so so so much and if you're ever down then please do not hesitate to talk to me because all i really want to do in life is help people.

What would it be like to not be scared to fall asleep at night and not be afraid to wake up? She has always wondered what it would be like to be someone else who wasn't in her shoes. Mayuri Crest has unfortunately developed narcolepsy at a young age and ever since then, her life has always been under constant surveillance, where people always pity her, but never really asked her about who she is. Her last year in high school though, she plans to make sure that she doesn't forget any of it. Mayuri plans to make her last year the best year she's ever had and finally, after the long, gruelling pain of alienated because of her conditions, both her medical and school wise, she would experience what it would be like to be like everyone else. ------- NOTE: There are possible trigger warnings in this novel e.g. suicidal thoughts.
