This is the initial essay of the hundreds of pages of core material on my website, material written to help those who have chosen to take on personal and/or spiritual growth as part of their path. Buddha said that suffering is at the heart of man, in this opening essay I talk about the cause of our suffering. It's purpose is to be the starting point, and establishes the basis for the "curriculum" in growth found in the material on the site.
