People like me used to be hidden in society, not placed in jars for everyone to scorn. It's lonely here in the jar. I see all sorts of monsters pass by me everyday; some human, some not.

I've got no voice in the jar. And even if I did, it wouldn't help.

I wasn't special, I wasn't a marine or a scientist sent here from earth to study Pandora, I was a behaviorist-some say behaviorists are scientists too; but the brain isn't made up of mathematics and hope, it's like the roots of trees. Forever speaking but unheard. I study people's brains and their behavior. I don't look at it with hope and faith. I'm nothing special, not really. When I was accepted to help with Project Pandora, I was exhilarated. This was my big break, something to get me out there. I never expected for it to spiral into my life unprofessionally-become personal, emotional. That I would have to fight in a war between man and alien, choose between my own people and a clan of beings that accepted me-welcomed me, trained and made me one of them. This wasn't supposed to become personal, but it did.

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.

I've moved into my own projects, I've grown to be more mature, and I've grown out of Changed, in fact, I've sort of taken a slight tint of dislike towards it, I'm still proud of the original book, I won't lie, it was the best I could do in a while, but there's so much better I can write and make. This story helped me create plenty of characters and finetune some already existing character lore I have, in fact, I've been working on an original story for a potential game or animatic utilizing the protagonist of the main book with my refined art skills, it does resemble the original in that it takes place in a facility infested by humanoid-half animal monsters, but that's about it. /// DISCLAIMER END /// Who am I? Who was my family? Where are my friends? Why am I here? This story takes place in an alternate timeline to the Changed video game, but everything remains practically the same. It takes inspiration from Awful Hospital: Seriously the Worst Ever, and combines it with my writing style. This story tries to put aside the transformation fetish aspect of the original game to provide a solid story. Meet our protagonist, you should probably know the drill by now: They awoke at a facility. Weird furry things are trying their best to catch him, but unlike the last person that tried to survive in this facility, he's been lucky enough to have come across several tools to help him out. The story is told through the entries and sketches our protagonist uses to remain calm. This story contains slightly-gratuitous coarse language from our protagonist every so often. Although no sexual content is present in the story, it was built under a furry transformation game, thus it can be slightly uncomfortable to certain groups of people. "Changed" made by DragonSnow.

"Caydon, Dad, You, Abby, and I." I absently say while going through my mail. One in paticurly catches my eye. I have not a clue whom it's from. All it has on it is my address. Hmm, guess that one will get opened first. I pull out a business looking folded piece of paper. I turn it around to see that it says: 'For Sophia-Grace James's eyes only.' I look around to see Abby reading a book in one of the bean bags and Hazel playing Call of Duty: World at War on the Xbox. I unfold the paper to read what it says. What I read makes my blood run cold. Dear Grace, I know you are wondering who I am, I promise that you will find out soon enough. I want you to meet me Thursday, July 8th 2012 by the baseball field, behind the concession shack closest to the woods at 9pm Come Alone. I will know if you are or not. -Fury -------- Grace is your typical popular American girl, or so the rest of the world thought. She has been through more problems and drama than the average inmate in the local prison. -Witnessing your parents being killed. Check. -Thinking the murder was put away for life. Check. -Learning to fight like a pro. Check. -Learning that the people you though you knew so well aren't exactly who you thought they were. Check. [Now With Photos!] Who are you? No, I don't mean your character. Who are you? I wonder this question every time I go to a con. I try to find a quiet spot and people watch. And my eyes are always drawn to the cosplayers: the young, the old, the experienced, the store-bought newbies, everybody. But even as I pose and smile, as the flash goes off, I wonder, who is this person? This person standing next to me, who has devoted so much time and so much more money to becoming this character? What is it about you, yes you, that compels you to travel, sometimes very far distances, to a con and give up an entire weekend to pretend to be someone you are not? It took me a couple of years to get the guts to start actually asking these questions. When I did, I wasn't disappointed. And that's where Masks Off came from. Have you ever gotten the feeling that everything you do is for nothing? Do you feel that no matter how hard you try, the world will always move on without you, whether you like it or not? Is it difficult to keep up in this current of events everyone else calls existence? Yeah... me neither... What? Do I have to put a meaningful and insightful description of the story? This is MY story, and I can do whatever the hell I want! It's funny how people just expect me to do things for them... Oh, you still aren't satisfied? If you are spending so much time reading this meaningless book description, why haven't you already started reading it? This is the kind of thing that bothers me about readers! They want people like me to practically spoil the entire story for them before they read it! Now, what it the point in that? So, taking into consideration the previous message, if you are still dying to get a taste of what this story revolves around, I might as well tell you. You have been oh-so-patient by reading all of this jibber-jabber that it would only be disrespectful for me not to give you a little information! Well... looks like I am just a really disrespectful person.
