After the events of Phoenix13: Reincarnation, Jason believes that Kalligan has stolen Rosetta Callista's book of dark rituals in order to open a portal to Àmandin, home of the Amaranthine Gods. In order to stop his former friend from returning the book to Deyanira and jump-starting the apocalypse, Jason sets out on a quest to find the bounty hunter Alexx Sullivan, who Rosetta insists will be able to find Kalligan. There's just one problem: Sullivan is locked up in Carceris Caeci, the most imfamous prison complex in Monterra.

Meanwhile, Kalligan takes the final step in his journey of discovery and ascends the dark tower of his most distant, repressed memories. In order to uncover the secrets of his life as an Amaranthine God, he must face all the horrors of his past. But despite his desire to learn everything about himself and the man known as Phoenix13, there are some things hidden in his mind that might have been better left untouched...

Phoenix is the spokesperson of the council and will have to go through a lot more adventures then she has ever been through.
