Kaia Weatherly thought she had suffered enough when her mom died giving birth to her, but of course her dad had to turn on her too. With practically both parents out of her life, all Kaia has to look forward to is escaping her snowboarding crazed town and following her dream of becoming a renowned neuroscientist. But then she just has to run into the famous Alexander Holland.
When Alexander was young, living with his single mom in Texas, all he wanted to do was find his father, a snowboarding sensation that had left his wife and child to fend for themselves early on. When Alexander's father finally reaches out, Alexander sees the promise of a better life, but sadly just a few months later, his father is killed in a snowboarding accident.
Alexander strives to follow in his father's footsteps, and soon becomes one of the youngest professional snowboarders in the world, but that is still not enough to fill the aching void in his heart. Turning to sex and alcohol, he doesn't see his own mother falling ill or his downward spiral into more dangerous waters.
But maybe Kaia can save him.

Crushing on the Captain
Eve Kingston is sick of being pushed around by hockey. Her entire life, the spotlight has been on her older brothers. Eve just wants to have her brothers back, like when they were kids and everything was easy. But if she happens to find love along the way, it might be with the man of her dreams. This is the sequel to Full Strength, but it totally can be read as a standalone! This is a closed door/clean romance, but there maybe be some more heated moments in the story.

Michael's Ghost Girl
This story is not getting the attention it deserves, so I am attempting to "re-brand" it. Maybe no one "gets" it. If you want to read about "Normal" teenagers, maybe this isn't for you, it's more complicated than that. It's about a teenager who doesn't fit it, but doesn't want to, who has the best two friends that anyone could have. Who watched his father lose his job in the Recession and then loses his home, and how he copes, especially when he learns that their new house is haunted and the ghost is in his room. Michael was an average kid, although he's always stood out. He was a school jock but also a skater whose long blond hair almost reaches his waist. When his parents lived in a house in a home owners association like all his other friends, life seemed normal. Then his father lost his job and suddenly those "friends" weren't there anymore--except for his two best friends, Short Round and Dewey. The three are skaters, good ones, who live for girls and their skateboards. They're also basically good kids who take pride in being different without paying attention to it. When Michael loses his home and his family has to move they have his back. And they are there for him when the ghost girl starts following him around. Mariah was murdered when she was just 15, her remains were never found, although no one but her and her ghost friend, Crazy Girl, know where their bodies are buried. The house Michael now lives in is the one where she lived with her family, and her old room is now his. She appears to him one night, trying to taunt him, but against her will she is falling in love with the boy who lives in her old room. Slowly the two begin to fall in love and Mariah tells him her story, and of the hidden danger that lies up the street from him.
