'What Are We' sequel.

They say you never forget your first love. For Gerard, there was never a more true statement. His past mistakes led him to the life he has now. Gerard spends most of his time alone. Working day and night to distract himself from the loneliness that clings to his chest. Pain not even Mikey can ease. Only one person can take it away, but Gerard knows all too well they are never coming back. Gerard lost faith long ago that Frank would return home to him. The moment the first year passed Gerard knew. It crushed him. The next year was filled with  unbearable self blame and hatred followed with useless therapy and prescription pills. Eventually, Gerard learned that sitting around with nothing to do other than think, only made the self destruction worsen, and decided to get a job at a popular coffee shop in the area.....

That's where our story begins.

You'd think learning of Frank's return would bring Gerard great joy, but I wonder if it will ultimately destroy him instead?

But, their differences don't keep them apart considering these strangers are forced into each other's lives when Gerard finds Frank attempting to commit suicide. Can Gerard help Frank without revealing his own problems and emotions or will they become too much to bare? *Trigger warning *Still editing mistakes( I'm fully aware my grammar sucks) *also warning this is terribly written.
