Getting a complete stranger to smile

His friends had set the usually grumpy, introverted male a series of tasks for over the holidays and he was to complete each one of them with evidence. If he finished this list of things before the twentieth of January, he got a surprise from his friends. He'd completed most of the list, and he only had three more to go.
