They exist to govern the elements on Earth. Salamanders govern fire, Sylphs govern the air, Undines govern the water, and Gnomes govern the Earth. The elemental that govers Earth has turned to the darkside and wants nothing, but to take control of the world. The other three elementals try to stop him from killing everyone and everything.
