Kaneonuskatew, or Kane, was known as one of the most prolific demons after his murder of an esteemed adviser's daughter. He came under the most scrutiny when it was revealed that he had fallen in love with that daughter, who just happened to be half angel. Their love was forbidden, so when she was murdered by his hand, he was sent by Lucifer to live in the church where the adviser lived. His main purpose was to be a guard and basically a slave to whatever the adviser, James, wanted. While being there, he met James' niece, who looked just like the girl he had fallen in love with.
