This girl is different from the typical books I've seen .Shes a girl with talent and a love for cars and hard work .Shes a mixed black and Spanish young lady who lives in one of the deep ghetto places of Mexico but when farther comes back from the army he sees the condition in which his wife and 3 children where living in so he moved to America into the city of New York to live a better life with his family .And Amelia has a hard time trying to fit in her badass defensive attitude with the new school ,new town ,new house and so on but her older brother and younger sister are ready to fight and do what's possible to live a better life .
