At the end of a long adventure, Sonic goes to the shores of Never Lake for the once-a-year appearance of Little Planet - a mysterious world where it is said that the past, present, and future collide through the power of the Time Stones hidden within it.
Doctor Robotnik, Sonic's nemesis, has chained the planet down and cast it in a metallic shell, hoping to get the Time Stones all to himself, and with that power he'll be able to twist time itself!
Fight through the past, recover the future, and defeat the evil Metal Sonic to save the future from Doctor Eggman's nefarious schemes!

It has been a month since Sonic and the Super Mario Crew successfully defeated Discordia. Sonic is enjoying his new life as a vigilante called "Blue Justice," but still craves for some adventure or something new. During a visit to the Mushroom Kingdom, he receives a mysterious invitation to the ancient Starlight Islands. Without any hesitation, he travels to the islands and meets the scientists Maria and McGregor Robotnik. Soon, Sonic realizes that the islands are home to Mephiles the Dark, a powerful demon who can destroy the world, and Sonic is the only one who can stop him. He must team up with Maria and McGregor to uncover the secrets of the ancient Chaos Emeralds and the island to defeat Mephiles. The characters that already exist in the "Sonic the Hedgehog" franchise belong to SEGA and Nintendo, and McGregor Robotnik is an original character.Complete
