When a horrible event happens to young college student Alagaësia, how she manages it means the difference between life and death, but not just for her but for those intimately associated with her.
This story began as a fictional account loosely based off of life experiences of my own and those of my friends. BUT I had to go on a nearly year long hiatus as it all became a bit too much. Some things are just meant to stay personal.
So with that being said, I'm deviating from that plan a smidgen, re-detailed the first three chapters a bit and am chasing the question down the rabbit hole that has been bugging me for years: What If?

Carolina(Car-oh-leen-a)is a girl who was abused as a child. Now she has grown up and is 16 years old. She has friends and is smart. She has a huge crush on a boy, Alex. One night she does a mistake that changes her life forever. Now she leaves her abusive life to California with her best friend Ashely by her side. Now in California she meats Jamie and he makes her feel loved. Not like Alex. Now she is loving her life scared that people she loved will find out the truth. But through out she lives on a roller coaster of love and pain with people around her. Will she be okay? This story is absolutely fictional. Book 1 Innana is a blind 17-almost 18- year old, with her sister,zeinah and her father, Ali, as her support. Her mother died so that she may live. How did she become blind? no one knows. When she was seven, a faithful night, she slept off being able to see the would through bright eyes and the next morning everything was as dark as coal. 11years later you'd think she would be used to the idea of being blind but she isn't. One night would change her life. After going to university, a week -2 weeks into the tern her vision started to clear up and to celebrate, her roommate decided to take her out for a drink. Somewhere along the line she looses her roommate and is saved by Vina or so she thinks. Vina tells the young girl she knows her and that she helped her which leaves the girl in a state of confusion. Vina snaps her finger and everything went dark again only then dose Innana realize her ability to see again is not by her power. Vina introduces her self as Savvina Vukasin, a demon but Innana refuses to believe until vina bears her claws and fangs out for Innana. The young girl asked the demon what she wants and the demon tells her in exchange for her ability to see she needs one thing but that's the one thing Innana can't give her.
