Hazel Marsh is an ordinary girl. She tries hard in school to get good grades, she doesn't talk back, she's a good kid. Even when her dad's job ends her in a small town, she doesn't complain. But when a sudden twist of events land her into being one of the only people in the world, she doesn't understand what it means. Especially when that other person happens to be the crush that rejected her.
She can't seem to shake the feeling that things are about to get a LOT worse.
