The Reed Twins, Kimberly and Cameron, often find themselves in trouble with the law, but never before have the consequences been so dire. The sister and brother have to move to America to live with their mother. The mother that had abandoned them at birth. The mother that they knew nothing about.
Adapting to their new lifestyle while holding onto their values proves difficult. While Cameron gladly takes the challenge of moving on, Kimberly finds the task too difficult to bear. New surroundings, family, and relationships prove strenuous. She can't let go. But looking to the past can mean missing the present. Can Kimberly learn that the past isn't all she has?
