Gladys Amerlyn has fascinated Barry Allen since they first met in high school. Although she and Barry never spoke much, he had always admired her humorous nature and sarcastic attitude. After graduation, Gladys leaves Central City, vowing to never return to the city she hates, so when Barry sees her one day ordering a coffee at Jitters, he can't help but wonder why. Is Gladys the person she says she has become? Or is there really something more sinister and dark behind the scenes than imaginable?
