People have a lot of superstitions for luck like throwing salt over their shoulder or crossing there fingers, some people even say if your a sailor and wear an earring you cannot drown.

People everyday knock on wood or if an eye lash falls they blow it and make a wish all for good luck. My Dad always thought they were stupid but he believed one certain superstition though, if a lady bug lands on you it will mean good luck and you will soon meet the love of your life.

I only think he believed it though because the one and only time he had a lady bug land on him he met my mom. I never believed it until the same happened for me.

CRINGE WARNING! First book I ever wrote on here!! -- "Sometimes the person who you are willing to take a bullet for is the person behind the gun." I stood peering over the cold lifeless body that lay before my eyes. I had always thought of death the enemy, but right now, I blessed it upon the person who is now at peace. Sometimes you don't need to be the smartest, or the fastest, but you do need to be wisest. They say the blood runs deeper than water, and I believe it, because even though the people that we love can turn on us and begin to hate us, they are only human, meaning that soon they will begin to see how short life really is and how it is not to be wasted. People who seem perfect and they look like they have no floors'; they are the people who are suffering, like I was. But I found my savior in the most uncommon place. He was able to look through my mask, he saw the cracks, and tried to fix the broken girl that hid away deep inside the girl who only wanted to be seen as 'fine'. I slowly began to find comfort and safety in him, and I did the same to him. We were two broken people becoming whole. Someone once said when you pass, if you can count your true friends on one hand you are beyond lucky, and I even though I did not like the person that lay before me, I know that he once had true friends, including me. I'm a 17 year old girl who has suffered more than any other, beginning to believe that 'Hope' was just another word the people throw around. Until I fell in love with a badboy. There are two stories in this book. #1. My Lucky Star What would you do to change your fate? Pray with all your heart. Then give all your bad luck to someone who really care for you. Would you be able to do that? That's what little Daniel did to his childhood friend. Maybe the bad luck made her crossed dressed into male clothes half of her life. Or maybe the freedom given by the clothes. In the end, it's Jules' choice ***** Jules says, "People said a Lady is weak and helpless. They certainly never met me." She adds, "My name is Jules Knight. I'm my own savior. I don't need a man like you to solve all my problems." What crossed her male friend's minds... "Hard to win her heart. She is even more gentleman than I." "You taught me to accept flaws. There's beauty in imperfection. You crossed over and tossed my life upside down. Now I could no longer return to my old life." "She is like my evil twin. We devoured desserts in all the shops we ventured." #2. It started with a LIE "It's okay. Think of this marriage as a simple way to end our problems. Three years later, we shall abolish it. You would have a chance to marry the Lady you love." Ian stares her with unblinking eyes. Abby is a beautiful Lady. Not lacking suitors. He asks, "What did you get from this marriage?" "Freedom. Father is very ill. He wanted me to marry before he died. I don't want him to arrange my marriage with a stranger. At least we are childhood friends." "What if he didn't die in three years?" "It doesn't matter. My beloved would come by that time. He would take me away, far from England." One simple lie. It started their marriage in the wrong path. "Tris, my love for you is never a lie."

"The moon's really beautiful, if you think about it," I blurted. "Yeah?" he asked, mild amusement and curiosity mingling in his voice. "Yeah," I confirmed. "It's just- there's something about the moon that's ethereal. I don't really know how to describe it, but it's a constant in life. You can't always see it, but you have to trust that it's out there somewhere. And when you can see it, it's all bright and shiny and overcomes the darkness." I paused, searching for the right words. "I don't know. I guess it's a reminder that there are good things out there, even if you can't see them... And it's cool to think that someone hundreds of miles away is staring at the exact same moon as you. It makes me feel not so alone in life." Turning my head, I saw him staring at me intently with a thoughtful look on his face. "Too deep for a Friday night?" I laughed nervously, feeling my face grow hot. And this was precisely why I didn't go to parties. He shook his head and seemed to snap out of his daze. "It was deep in a good way." *** SHE was quiet & left out.
