Amethyst Baggins isn't your regular day-to-day elf, she's actually something more. But first, you may be wondering why her last name is Baggins when she's an elf. When she was younger, her parents didn't want her, so they took her to the nearest place: The Shire. There, she was raised by the Baggins family, but the strange thing was, she wasn't as tall as she was meant to be, she was as tall as Bilbo! Anyways, don't want to keep explaining Amethysts' background. Amethyst started out as a normal elf when she was younger, but, as she became older, a power grew within her as well. Over time, Bag-end was built, and Bungo Baggins had married Belladonna Took and they both had a son, Bilbo. The only people that knew about her power was Bilbo and his mother. After Bilbo were full grown - Amethyst was already full grown --, a wizard, Gandalf the Grey, had come knocking on their door, asking them to join him on an adventure. Bilbo had said no, but Amethyst had given Gandalf a look that said that they would come. In the end, the most unexpected things had happened and one of the two had fallen in love with the dwarf king, Thorin Oakenshield.

You know they aren't your little boys anymore but a mother still thinks their child is still a baby. The dwarves traveled to moria but when you camped your water broke and that's when Fili was born and in The battle of Azanulbizar started, Kili was six months in your stomach. But in the battle your husband's life was taken by azog. It wasn't easy for you, especially raising one baby son and one on the way. but Thorin was there to help you. After your husband's death you knew you'd never fall in love again until a certain Hobbit came into your life. (The first movie will sadly not be the extended version, but the others are the extended version.)

Disclaimer: This story was inspired by the "Blue Swords" trilogy, written by Frayedapart. If you are a fan of the Hobbit or the Lord of the Rings you should pay the profile of Frayedapart a visit. There are many more fanfictions about those books. Like "Blue Swords" this book includes a romantic relationship between Legolas and the male Oc. Those who are uncomfortable with this kindly move on to another book.
An Unexpected Member
You've heard the story of the 13 Dwarfs, the wizard and the Hobbit right? Well they left out one thing, the Unexpected Member of the Company. I was there for it all, from the Shire to Rivendale to Mirkwood and then The Lonely Mountain. You see I am 1/4 Elf, 1/4 man, 1/4 wizard and 1/4 Dwarf so I am tall for a dwarf but not tall enough for an elf/man/wizard. But the elven/wizard side gave me powers that nobody else had, nobody knew who my parents were other then my mother was 1/2 elf and 1/2 man and my father was 1/2 wizard and 1/2 dwarf. Gandalf and Lady Galadriel sent me to "Earth" after Smaug took over Erebor when I was nothing but a little baby girl. 40 yrs later here I am still looking like I am in my 20's with a very bad attitude and wanting NOTHING but to get away from my stupid foster home.......this is MY story on what happened and how I got bad to Middle Earth, trained with Gandalf and Lady Galadriel till it was time to take back the mountain.
