Had to write a ballad for English. Since it never ACTUALLY got collected (the assignment was canceled after I wrote, I was pretty pissed...) I wanted to put it somewhere. Based from the theater shooting in Colorado.

The Shot was Fired
A group of friends deal with life in the trenches along the Western front. Young German soldiers sent to fight a war they were told would be over by Christmas, soon realize that they aren't going anywhere. I did as best research as I could at the time, I'm sure it is not 100% accurate. This was written several months ago based on a story I wrote in middle school. I decided to I wanted to post this somewhere just in case someone else found it, maybe I can get some feedback. I know it is far from perfect and I have thought about going back and reworking it but just have not gotten around to it.

This is weird, weird but I cannot help it. The reason I'm beginning my note with that very cryptic, absurd line is because this was first meant to be an OS...it is now a TS... this was supposed to be a sequel, to my last OS - Ishq Mera Kaamil - and is now its prequel...crazily, I don't know how it got to be that... I started writing one thing, my imagination ran away with something else, and this became that... I would have named this Jaate They Japan, Pahunch Gaye Chin...if it were even a little bit humorous remotely LOL In short, I'm hoping this makes more sense than my note here and I'll end this here before I get questions about whether I have finally lost my marbles. PS -The titles of the chapters are inspired by the beautiful quote, "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Lao Tzu NOT PROOFREAD.

Still Hurting
I bumped into this song while browsing Lea Salonga videos in youtube about a year ago. I immediately fell in love with how Lea and the lyrics were able to invoke emotions that I thought never existed. I don't know why, but I've been playing this song over and over again since then. Then I just woke up one day and started writing a plot inspired by the song's lyrics. I initially intend to write a one-shot. However, I was not able to summarize everything into one chapter - it has to be divided into different parts. (about 4 - 6 chapters). Schematic Beauty
A first, crap, draft of a story I'm rewriting in a universe I made up when I was 18 and still love. I don't really intend to publish this - it's the base for what's probably going to be a film, if I can get the main characters to stop jabbering at each other. I haven't touched this draft for more than two years. You get to look at it and see what shit I don't send to the publishers. :) Featuring: infodumps! Run on sentences! Extended metaphors that don't make sense! Purple prose for the sake of purple prose!
