Zia lived fairly happily in the kingdom of Kile even though she lived in the slums with her mother. One day when she was getting medicine for her mother she witnessed a horrifying scene in the middle of a market place: a child getting whipped, and no one did anything to stop it or help the kid. It was then that she learned just how awful the country was.
Eight years later a group of rebels that call themselves 'The Black Lotus' are gaining popularity and followers. Their goal: to take down the corrupt government and rebuild it. While she admires what they are trying to do Zia refuses to have anything to do with the group since anyone who comes in contact with them are labeled traitors.
