Based on the CW television show, Reign, this fanfiction follows the mind of Mary, Queen of Scots, during the days following the death of her husband, Francis, King of France. Mary is struggling with her grief and avoids the confrontation that comes with war raging in her country of Scotland by imagining what could have been if Francis and Mary had made it to Paris instead of the brutal reality that brought his death.
