There will be synthetic heat, light, and seasons. The cost to enter such an oasis is very expensive. It is hundreds of thousands of dollars per ticket. However, there is another way to get in. Once the sun dies many will die with it. It might even vaporize part of the planet in its blast. No one knows for sure. But the world will need a larger population. You can earn your place in the dome if you agree to have a child to save the human race. This obviously only applies to women. Now remember Cadence? He is biologically female. He has been on testosterone for two years and is trying to transition in this world. Unfortunately that is horribly expensive where he lives. His family however is more focused on saving their lives from the dying sun. His parents had just enough money to afford his sister a ticket. She could not have children because she was barren. Cadence however could have children if he wished, but he didn't. Having a child meant undoing all of his hard work. At age 16, I worked 2 jobs at the mall and he was fixing cars at his father's garage shop. We were happy and in love. During our 16th year of age, we decided to do the big IT. It was amazing since we both took each others' virginity and luckily knew how to use condoms. It was impossible to stop. We did it non-stop, but that ended quickly when I stepped out of the bathroom with tears in my eyes. I was pregnant with Matthew Connor's baby. And I wasn't ready.
