Scarlet Calister was not only born into a broken America but is left orphaned and alone after a fire takes down her home and family. She is rescued from the cold by an old man who takes her to The Resistance, a camp/village who train vampire hunters.
She is accepted to join the village and learns more about the outside world she was protected from and herself.
Believing that vampires are the ones that killed her family,Scarlet starts vampire hunter training. Along her journey she specifically meets Zachery Turner,Mordecai Archer,Addie Wood and Michelle Archer.
Four determined vampire hunters out for revenge.
Within Scarlet's group of friends she will experience firsts,gruesome moments, unexpected love, and friendship while they prepare for the biggest fight the camp will experience.
The Resistance plans to take down the Kansas City,Missouri refugee camp. Knowing death will come to most of the hunters,Scarlet will go to help save lives and risk her own.
