I watched how the light slowly faded from his green eyes. I watched his skin get pale and his body go lifeless. I watched him give up a fight that he could've won. I watch his smile fall from his face as his lips turned into a curve. I watched him treat me differently , shutting me out. I watched him while he let isolation make his heart cold. I watched as his breathing increased and, then, slowly, he let it decrease. 
I saw everything....And I couldn't do anything to stop the monster from killing him from the inside.
