In a world far far away, there is an unknown place that many humans do not know of. The people live in happiness, hope and peace. This world, this land, this country is called Haikrin. Haikrin was always surrounded by a peaceful atmosphere that was appreciated by many but unsettling for many others. Most of the people who populate the land also do not know of the disturbance that they create towards 'the other side'. Evil lurks in the deepest darkest corners of Haikrin and are never to be seen. Until now. The time has come for a new day. A day full of hatred, misery and despair. Where the hopes and dreams of many children are destroyed and where the people no longer live in peace. Old feuds, new worlds, and a love that will last a lifetime... For his daughter, Bridget, has a power unlike anything they've ever seen before and she uses her deadly craft to send them to a place that will teach them the lesson of their lifetime. Bridget has sent them back in time, all the way to World War Two, throwing them into a secret fight for the survival of all magical folk in the world. Marla soon learns what it really means to be a True, and the power her absent father has kept from her all her life... Marla, Ed and Asher are thrown into a world they and their generation have no comprehension of, a world where love is a relic of a life left behind and your only duty is sacrificing all that you have.
