Amias was a simple man of the Desert. Using magic sparingly, often preferring the diplomacy his revolver offered, it was a surprise to him to find an Artifact in a rundown town. With the aid of Azorath, a caster of questionable power and origin, he races to unravel the secrets of the Artifact before those who wish to destroy or abuse it catch him.

This is a tale mixing fantasy, steampunk and an often witty tone that's sure to have you shaking your head. With what, only you can decide.

Primsharah will become the center of a deadly play, with the powers of the gods themselves at stake ... *** Refusing to watch his family crumble beneath the weight of poverty, Arran has resorted to stealing from the rich to provide for his mother and sister. His ability to bend light prevents him from being caught ... until one day, he is. His captors have no intention of turning him in, though, instead making him an offer that he cannot resist, but which will change the course of his future forever. Meanwhile, Princess Serafina, heir to the throne of Primsharah, welcomes an unusual suitor in the royal palace. This stranger brings a dangerous gift for her father: the Sphere of Truths, one of the ten World Artifacts, created by the gods themselves. As the Shah sinks deeper into his obsession with the Sphere, Inna starts experiencing visions about a thief stealing another Artifact, the Amulet of Doom. A deathly curse is bound to the Amulet, and its theft will set in motion a series of events which might destroy Primsharah for good ... and the world along with it. Together, Arran and Inna flee across the desert to find out who is stealing the Artifacts and why. But Arran's time is limited as the curse flows through his veins, with no hope for salvation save for the stubborn princess who is determined to see his survival. Magic, desert and creatures of myth weave a tale of fragile hope, large-scale betrayal and fierce friendship between two people whose fates should never have crossed paths at all.

SHADOW IS AZH'NAHN, A POWERLESS MAGE born into a culture that prides itself in sharing the earth's powers. When he chooses a life of voluntary exile to preserve his family's honor, Shadow receives a mysterious call to witness the unearthing of kotrakoy, treacherous telepathic beasts with four wings and four rows of teeth. As he watches their unholy resurrection with great horror, kotrakoy open their minds to his and offer a glimpse into what life would be like wielding a mage's powers. As Shadow races to warn his people of the impending threat, he discovers a mysterious Trayki woman hanging from the trees and on the verge of death. Uncertain what to do, Shadow initially hesitates to rescue this woman whose people embrace technology and eschew his culture. As Shadow tends to her glider crash wounds, the earth unites them in a soul bond, a sacred union that gives Shadow an unerring duty to protect and preserve her life. And that duty will be fraught with peril: Trayki troops begin bombing Hiwalani villages and while losses mount, magic evolves and Shadow's people lose their power. The Hiwalani must rely on inexperienced youth to master the new magic and stop enemy attacks. Desperate to save their people, few make any progress at all. Only the outcast azh'nahn seems to understand it - and very few trust his judgment. When Shadow believes he's unlocked the solution, it involves empowering the most deadly kotrakoy and risking the complete annihilation of his people. While his solution sounds reasonable in theory, there is no time to test it - it's UNPROVEN.

Severely delusional and suffering from a complex, he inadvertently sets out to find the truth behind the War that had killed his brother and engulfed the whole continent of Steiffer with chaos and death. The second story arc is set in the future Earth where an unexpected turn of mysterious events has triggered a massive War that has destroyed many countries, rendering the surviving nations struggling for what's left of the resources on the ravaged world. Unable to travel across devastated wastelands stretching hundreds of miles apart, nations have developed and built gravitational elevators as a main mode of transport among each other. The second story arc is told in the perspective of Jeremiah Kelson, a young and aspiring scientist/operative who had an unexpected military background and skill. Having no memories of his past, Kelson finally sets out to find the roots of his forgotten memories without knowing that it would place him in dangerous situations in search of his past life. A vast desert on a sprawling world is the home to tech pirates ruling the sands, small frontier villages and towns trying to squeak by, and colossal monsters that prey on all things that come under their gaze. Lykha, a young fairy, has found herself stranded in this world when the former-most fell victim to the latter; her captors seeking to use her one and only magic wish were eaten by a titan of the desert sand. Her only hope would seem to be the legendary and honorable knight known as Murtoa of Lakia, who by all accounts, is one of the few, if only, individuals who specialize in defeating the colossal monsters. Stranded and awaiting a likely-mythical hero, Lykha will happily accept any form of assistance from anyone, even if it means risking her wish once more...
