Esme is a good girl, following her mother's harsh demands and keeping up her facade of perfection for the world, even though her brother is threatening that idea. His rebellious ways after a bad breakup sends him spiralling down in the wrong direction with the wrong people. Because of this her Mother decides it's a good idea to start going to church. Esme is used to seeing hypocrites and at the new church she sees plenty. Plenty of people who act religious and perfect, her Mother included. But there's someone who couldn't be more far from looking 'perfect' in the eyes of others. With tattoos and a constant scowl he's the last person she expected to see sitting in the front row and even coming to watch choir practice, the reason why? He's the preachers son. The worst part is even with his rude, shallow, and blunt ways she can't help the feelings she gets when he shows her the side of him that she never expected. Every Sunday Harry goes to church, front row every time, watching and listening to his Father preach his own sins. When a new family enters the church he looks at them like another bunch of hypocrites. But after inspecting Esme, Harry starts to realize the girl with the perfect outside has a fragile heart inside. His automatic instinct is to leave her alone and not get into her business, but there's something about the fiery choir singing girl he needs and keeps going back to. When her brothers 'wrong direction with the wrong people' phase becomes more dangerous than Esme could have imagined she needs help from Harry, but will he even want to get involved? (Warning this will not be some goody book, it will have sex, drugs, crude language and other ungodly things. The church is just a setting)
