In a place far, far away, in the land of Sinnoh, there was a field of delicate, pink blossoms. This field was the home of the legendary Shaymin, who made their homes beneath the flowers. Life was peaceful under the guidance of their elder, a Shaymin by the name of Iridium, who was born into his Sky Forme. This Sky Warrior used his unique gift to protect the fields he and his species loved; just as his fathers did before him.

You see, Iridium didn't come from a branch of normal Shaymin. In his linage, all of the eldest Male Shaymin would be born with unique abilities, as well as permanent Sky Forme. His grandfather had been a prophet, and had foreseen a disaster that would obliterate the Shaymin race, with a young girl who fell from Above being their only hope.

After two generations having passed without incident, the warning was soon forgotten. Not by Iridium though. He knew something had begun when a child fell from the sky, into their Gracidea fields, and he took her in.

Zakana Hayline despises Pokémon with every fiber of his being. He's never owned a Pokémon, never thrown a Pokeball, never even held a Pokedex. That may be normal for some children under the age of ten, who haven't embarked on their Pokémon quest yet, but Zakana isn't ten anymore. He's 18. Unlike his family, and everyone around him, he is quite content with ignoring everything his lush, beautiful world has to offer. And when he finishes his training as an astronaut, he'll be able to get away for good. When his mother, Audria, rushes home after her council meeting in Pallet Town and reports that Zakana's father, and cousin, Yumin Hayline, have been kidnapped, everything is turned upside-down. Zakana's older sister, Kirish, estranged from Zakana because of their very different views on Pokemon, is in the middle of a war herself on the lonely Orange Islands. Bambi, battling prodigy and Zakana's ten-year-old cousin, and Yumin's baby sister, is six months into her academic career at one of the most prodigious schools in the region, and is just as much Hayline as the rest of the them. Her and Yumin's parents-nowhere to be found. Being a prominent and powerful Pokémon trainer herself, Audria must leave home to search for her husband, nephew, and in-laws, and leave a sheltered, helpless, and stubborn Zakana alone for the first time. His family is way more important than he could have ever imagined. According to Audria, they are being targeted by a mysterious organization know as the Viterals. Lucky for him, they are not aware of his existence. Suddenly, his place in the world comes clear into focus. He must catch and request the help of the Pokémon he so hates in order to survive and to save the ones he loves. He must open his heart and forget everything that happened that day-that fateful day weeks before he was to begin his own Pokémon journey, the moment the greatest tragedy befell his life, and changed it and his family's from every day forward.

(Y/N) was never kind-at least, not in her own eyes. At 19, she lived a normal life, except for the voice inside her head that is, and never saw herself as particularly good or heroic. She wasn't a hero after all. But her actions often contradicted that belief, speaking louder than her own self-perception. She was fiercely protective of her friends, though she struggled to understand why. Could she feel emotions? Yes. But understanding them? That was a different story. Then, she was shot. Instead of dying, she woke up as her 10-year-old self-reborn into the world of her favorite childhood manga, Demon Slayer, years before the story began. Why was she here? Who brought her there? The answers were as unclear as the muffled, underwater-like voice that had guided her since she was a child. The voice inside her head. With no clear purpose and no desire to change fate, she decided to live for herself like she always did. If she was stuck in this world, she might as well have fun! It was the purpose of her life after all, to have fun. And where else was more exciting than with the main characters? Everything revolved around them right? So she became a traveler, to find him, wandering from place to place, meeting all sorts of people-many of whom she recognized as future hashiras or part of the main cast. Along the way, she unintentionally formed bonds, won over many hearts, and built a new life for herself, never thinking too hard about the future. Everything was great! But, as time went by, she slowly forgot the storyline, or even what world she was reincarnated in. She even found love. She was happy, until the demon king killed him, she sought revenge, as memories rushed back in that moment seeing him on the ground dying. (Y/N) loved to fight, she was sadistic yet kind, what an odd combination. Along with the voice in her head, will she finally find a fun exciting new life? *there is no main love interest! VariousxF!reader!*

This book is part of a series. If you have not read the other books, then you won't understand what's going on here at ALL. Please go read 'Not Everyone is a Steal-Type' then 'Take an Extra Step, GOH the Extra Mile (The Prologue)' Before continuing. Both can be found on this account. (There's also a reading list dedicated to this series.) __________ Ash failed to save the world alongside Goh and even lost his existence in the process... OR SO HE THOUGHT! Thanks to knowledge from a girl who calls herself Yuki Kazeko, he can prepare for the final encounter with the Evil Professor Ceries in the future. (Alongside her, of course! They're both fighting for their own respective worlds.) You would think this would be an easy task for one who came from the world that CREATED Pokemon and loves them with all her heart, right? Sorry to say, but a change in reality isn't as easy as 1, 2, 3. Yuki is afraid of what Pokémon are capable of. From being able to cause fires just by breathing or cause someone to become poisoned just by being touched... that isn't something she's used to. That, alongside her own difficult life challenges she faced just adds on to her fears. With one of the most important pieces to saving the world not being anywhere close to emotionally functioning in the amazing world of Pokémon, a Personal Trial and a Special Grand Trial has been created to help her overcome those fears once and for all! Alongside the world's Chosen One: Ash Ketchum, and the many People and Pokémon who remember the events before the world was cut from the main timeline, Yuki takes on the challenge! It's time to take a step forward into a world filled with many similarities and differences: The World of Pokémon! ___ Book Cover Updated: 3/4/2023 (Mostly to express that it's no longer a betrayal series + cleaner/simpler design)
