Luke's life was pretty normal.
If he ignored the fact that he felt uncomfortable in his own skin and struggled to accept what he really was.
Gay.
The word haunted him, day and night.
He knew what would happen if people found out he liked boys, especially his parents. He'd be disgraced- they'd hate him, be disgusted of him. Because they were both homophobic and they made their disgust to homosexuality pretty obvious.
So consequently, Luke grew up knowing that boys were supposed to like girls, and girls only. But throughout his teenage years, the feeling, the attraction, only seemed to get stronger. And Luke was scared. Really fucking scared.
"You're different from what I expected," she said softly.
"How so?" he asked, glancing at her.
"I don't know," she replied, searching for the right words. "You just... have this way of making people feel like they matter. Even here, in this... nightmare."
He was quiet for a moment before responding. "You matter, Y/n. Don't forget that."

Y/n wakes up in the deadly Squid Game, surrounded by strangers and fighting to survive. What she doesn't know is that the mysterious Frontman is watching her every move through the cameras- and she's caught his attention.
