After her mothers disappearance and being abused by her own father, little Rapunzel is put up for adoption, where Gothel takes her in. The life that now begins for her is not only new but lonely, her only friend her american wolf dog Darcy. When she meets handsome and dangerous Flynn, after deciding that making her own experiences about the world, she was preached was not to be trusted, Rapunzel finds herself torn between past, present and future.

"Take me to Boston!" she demanded, grateful that her voice didn't gave away how fast her heart beat and the way blood rushed through her ears. "Why should I?" he asked and leaned in a bit closer, that their faces were only inches apart, wearing that smug smile on his face like always. His breath was hot against her lips and his smell so intoxicating, that she almost forgot who he was and what she was here for. Her hands trembled and she clenched them together under the table, so he wouldn't see how tensed and afraid she really was. "Because if you don't, Ill tell them!" she blurted out, biting down her lip in anticipation. A frown appeared on his face, the lips pressed into a small line he leaned back and nodded once, before staring at her through cold, hard icy blue eyes. "Alright." he answered, "but then you have to give it back to me." Rapunzel let out a shaky breath, she didn't knew she had hold and dug her fingernails into her skin. "Perfect. Meet me at ten in the morning at the central station." Not giving him the chance to protest she got up and walked out of the cafe as fast as she could without breaking into a run, and a smile appeared on her face. She had made it. All the way down the street she could feel Flynns eyes glued to her back.
