Josephine Judith Williams, Joe, for those of us who know her, is such a specimen, she's wild, disobedient, incapable of love and with a natural tendency to getting involved in crazy venturesome situations. In one of this adventurous fits she drives all the way to Hannibal, where she gets to know a mysterious stranger, who has the strange conviction that he's going to see her again. 
Will they or will they not meet again? Well, Joe has more important stuff to worry about, starting with her medication, her therapy sessions and her healing process. Oh yes, Joe has this little minor problem, she has mild antisocial personality disorder. Usually not a big deal, though. But sometimes a really big deal.
