Eight High School students of any grade may come together at any time to become a group, with any name they choose.
When Jack Flint enters his Sophomore year of High School, he doesn't even feel like fighting, his old group ditched him, and his weapon had been destroyed. He didn't have any reason to keep fighting, he could go to his regular classes, and not stress about being a soldier, right? Oh wait, he's the main character, of course not.
Just when he has given up, he finds an unlikely group of friends after he is tossed around by a wandering ghoul. When he is saved by Dakota Lanister, his life is turned around, and a new group is formed with him taking the lead.
Through all of this happiness, the greatest evil stirs, and it's up to The Wolf Pack to stop it.

How am I going to protect you here?" he asks angrily. "I don't need your protection!" I shout, pushing him away. I get an angry growl back. Quickly I grab another knife and throws it over my shoulder, hitting bulls' eye. He glares at me, and the room has gone completely silent. That's when I discover that I may have gone too far with the insanely possessive highness, even though I'm grateful for the extra lessons he gives me. Then suddenly everyone hurries out of the training area. Leaving me alone with the growling, red eyed alpha.
