M and L have grew up together. from solving equations to M forcing L to try make some friends they start solving cases together. Most of the whole entire world knows who the great detective L is but they don't know the girl that has been secretly solving cases with him. when their next big case comes up the two spring into action once more. will they manage to confess to their childhood love? when the kira case becomes more and more serious M realizes that L's life could be in danger ad so did L. but at the same time, something terrible comes between them. but, they still care for each other. will they be able to protect each other when the time comes? will they continue to be by each others side or will they drift apart and forget abut the times they've spent together?
