Alex lives with her mother, step father, and younger sister. That is until some random boy comes into her house in the middle of the night and starts asking where his father is. Alex later learns this is her step brother, and she's not happy about it, but when Nicholas's father gets a call with a familiar voice Nicholas is terrified, but with the help from his two sister and the girl across the street things get a little more, calmer?
