Original Draft, not the rewrite | What does society choose to do when children start being born with magic powers? Throw them into a prison of course! That fixes everything. Except it doesn't. In fact, it makes things worse. When young girl, Stella Rophur hears about Project Sunshine, Stella went from keeping her secrets away from just people at school to keeping it from the entire world. The Sunshine Project didn't just bring darkness and strip kids away from having a proper childhood, it actually did bring some light into peoples lives. Stella never had many friends as a kid, she wasn't a very social child, but being at the prison and meeting kids just like her made it easier. It doesn't end there, more secrets about the program and just where these mutations came from are uncovered. Bringing out more darkness and light, Moonlight and Sunshine. Read on to see just how Stella's story unfolds... ~ "Who are you?" Stella asked, staring at the girl with the uncanny grin and red horns sticking out of her head. "I'm anything and everything... The only limit is fear." Stella woke up in a cold sweat, flicking on the lamp beside her bed. She ran a hand through her light blue hair, catching her breath. "Who was that girl? Why was she in my dream?" Stella thought to herself, dreams had meaning didn't they? There had to be some sense to Stella's dream, maybe Stella would find out if she had another dream. "I wonder if she has powers too, she looks like it. I'm not really sure if I want to find out, that was freaky."

[NOW PUBLISHED ON AMAZON! You can buy it here: http://bit.ly/ColdFireBUY] [*SAMPLE ONLY* LAST 10 CHAPTERS REMOVED] [A Wattpad featured novel] Melissa has a rare, undiagnosed disease, or so say the doctors that did tests on her for half of her life. She doesn't need a medical certificate to tell her that she's different. She was born with a body temperature so low that most people would die before they even started living. Keyword: most. Somehow, Melissa has managed to live for fifteen years, but those years have not been without their hardships. The doctors told her that in order for her organs to function in such cold conditions, her body must absorb the heat from the surrounding air in a painful process dubbed a "heat attack", which slowly turns her temporary home freezing and uninhabitable. Forced to move from city to city in order to keep everyone in her vicinity alive, and plagued by the stares and hushed whispers that accompany her, Melissa tries to lead a normal life. But she's failing miserably. And when she's approached by the new kid in school, all hope of an ordinary life slips from her grasp. Suddenly, strange is the new normal, and Melissa finds herself wrapped up in a new world where ghosts aren't "just in her head", glass windows shatter unprovoked, and rare, undiagnosed diseases aren't actually diseases at all. And to top it all off, someone - or multiple someones - seem to want her dead. So much for normal... © 2013 by shayebay All Rights Reserved PUBLISHED JUNE 26, 2019 WITH TYPEWRITER PUB!! I will be posting this story on Royal Road within the next week or so after I have passed the approval process. My name on there will also be CatLegis. Kara thought that going to a boarding school for witches would be hard. But when she's framed for murder, she must clear her name before the murderer can strike again. ***** Kara has just turned sixteen and is to attend Greenwood Academy, a witches' boarding school located in the Salem Woods in Massachusetts. But the Zen family is notorious for weak familiars and, as she prepares to summon her familiar for the first time, along with bracing for the bullying that will surely follow, something miraculous happens. The power she summons was thought to be a myth and legend: and it's extremely powerful. Accepted by the popular students within the academy, Kara begins to think that her stay at Greenwood will be an easy one. But when a fellow student is viciously murdered, Kara is the sole suspect of the crime, and she must figure out how to clear her name before tragedy can strike again. But what exactly is the truth when she's going to a three hundred year old boarding school that has secrets? Word count: Approximately 70,000 words.
