But, there hasn't been a one spotted since the Pixl Queen. Ones are seen as dangerous because of their potential and are to be killed at birth to prevent future tragedies. Not that many had been born. In fact, it's extremely rare to get any numbers below ten. A young Blumiere lives in a dark tribe in this dark world. Labeled as a number six, he is the most powerful being born as far as everyone knows. But what happens when he finds himself in the presence of a One? A tale about friendship. About finding light and love in a world where that doesn't seem apparent. About lasting bonds and about broken bridges. Join us, as One shines a flashlight into the darkness. Follow Blumiere as he follows One in his quest to bring back the sun. AN: For once, this is NOT a ship story. I want to be clear, it is NOT a BlumierexOne story in any way. It is purely a story about friendship and the bond between two children. This story takes place before SPM. It's an alternate Universe where things used to be a lot darker, so it's by no means canon to either game. The universe is heavily based on Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares 2, however, though some names are the same, none of those characters from that game are in this. This story is a mixture of both, taking characters from Super Paper Mario and putting them into a universe similar to Little Nightmares. Please Enjoy! (Art at the top of chapters isn't mine)

The magician set out to find a cure for the curse that had befallen them, and he encountered two mysterious figures in his search who asked what was wrong so that they may help. The magician shares his troubles, and the figures offer just the cure... A red Apple from The Overthere for a baby boy Or a white Apple from The Underwhere for a baby girl But whatever he does, the figures explain, he shouldn't feed his wife both. ..........she eats both. The wife gives birth to twins. The youngest is born a perfect baby girl! But the oldest...was born a horrific monster. The firstborn twin is hidden away and is seemingly forgotten...until one fateful day, when the daughter is ready to be wed. The monster eldest sibling demands that it must be wed before the younger sister, as is its right as the older of the twins.
