The disease affected a number of different ages all over the world. The UK was 14, China and Japan were 16, and here in the US, it was 17. It turned everybody over that age into a disgusting, diseased, and cannibalistic creature that feasted on the flesh and blood of the children left abandoned by the sickness. In Pennsylvania, a group of high school band nerds try to survive in the area they once called home and maybe even stop the disease as of that was really possible.
