Hannah Dent is just a normal Gotham citizen, despite the fact that her 28-year-old older brother has just become Gotham's new DA and is the second most targeted man in Gotham City, second only to the Batman. But when Hannah is captured by the scarred, cackling, crazy criminal known as the Joker in order to get close to her older brother, her world is turned upside down.  But even though  Hannah struggles to hold on to her sanity, she loses it in the best way possible- falling in love.
