Melissa is a 13 year old Mexican that just moved to iola Texas because of her mom's boyfriend. When she gets there there's a boy who helping her unpack the truck they make eye contact but she shyly disconnect the eye contact before it gets out of hand.
When they finished unpacking both Melissa and "the mystery boy " went in the houses. She bolted up stairs to collect her thoughts. When she came back down stairs he was gone. She didn't even catch his name.
