"The gift from the gods, it is here!"The young girl whispers. A bundle of silver-white blankets floats down from the sky.

There was silence as the leader grasped the bundle.
"Thank you," the chief said, breathless.
"Take care of the child,"a wonderfully sweet and gentle voice said. No one could tell where it came from, but it filled the air with happiness.
The wind blew sharply, parting the blankets around the young girl.
The child laughed, a happy, sweet sound, and things seemed better.
So much better...

"Have you no heart?" He stopped. Sayf turned abruptly to face her, feeling as every word she spoke got to his nerves. "What in the name of Allah is wrong with you?" he asked with a sigh. "Are perhaps mentally impaired?" he asked again trying to be clear. "If I was I wouldn't be here in the first place" she voiced narrowing her eyes on him. Yes, he insulted her but that was the least of her problems. She will have to avenge at a more convenient time later. "Then leave" he seethed glaring directly at her. "Stop challenging me" she said holding her waist with both hands. He hissed and started walking away majestically. He was so done wasting his words on her. Tauhida groaned and murmured softly beneath her breath but it didn't remain unheard to him "Koh dutse ne kai albarka" she said and he found himself smiling weirdly to no one in particular. ~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~•~ Just like scattered stars trying to cluster again, just like the scars trying to heal with love, just like the swirling storm breaking down all bounds and just like the blinking starlight shining on a mirror, this story is also a mirror of life. Cold secrets will be clamped just like the break of dawn. Despite all odds, underneath their ventricles and atria is an undying love for each other. Just stay tuned with me so I will prove once again how fate can actually change the hearts of two people, Tauhida Al-amin Borodo and Sayf Hakeem Elnafaty @ "Tauhida". Lots of love Deedi-- ❤️

I was going to be a father soon, or at least that was what Kira was telling me. Somehow, the joy that I knew I should've felt wasn't there and I wondered briefly if there was something wrong with me. Shouldn't I be over the moon? Shouldn't Trace? Even as I asked, I felt nothing of the sort. However, I did feel as if something weren't right. There was a small voice in the back of my head telling me that I needed to open my eyes and see what was going on, but I remained blind. Ignoring the confusion deep in my gut, I dressed for the somber occasion - yanking at the collar of my dress shirt in an agitated manner. I hated wearing a suit, but the event called for it. An Alpha had died. Alpha Nathaniel of the neighboring pack died late last week, the cause unknown to those outside of the Council of Elders. He left behind an heir that was rarely seen in public and a widow that most of their Pack refuses to treat as a Luna. Our Packs were neighbors, but not friendly by any means. Something had happened before I was born to cause a rift between the two groups and while it stayed mostly peaceful, there were issues as well. * * * Something isn't quite right in Jackson's marriage, but he's not certain what it is. He's also unnerved by the fact that he feels an overwhelming attraction to an accused murder, which shouldn't be possible since he's fully Mated. Jax's world unravels before his eyes and new revelations come to light. Gorgeous cover made by @southernTXkindagirl

"Goddess," he begged. "Please help me protect my people." "God," Another one prayed in the front seat of his truck. "Please help me keep my kids safe." "They're all I have left." They both spoke in unison, reaching the ears of their respective deities. They were both some of the strongest men of faith, going through so much hardship. While one tries to protect their home, another seeks to find a safe one for his family. "I believe it's time," She spoke to the woman next to her. High in the sky they floated, their dresses dancing in the moonlight. While her dress was one with the beams of soft white light, the other woman had a dress of gold, showing the sunlight that she mainly stayed in. Her wings were pure white, her hair a vibrant red. She had much color, while she kept with the soft colors of the moon, her own hair white and long, soft as silk. "I can't promise that it will be perfect in the beginning," the angel spoke, looking down at the man in the truck. "But he is of a kind heart, even if it is untrusting at first." "I'm sure Declan can handle that," the Goddess of the Moon smiled at her. "Out of all the challenges he has faced, I'm positive that this won't be difficult for him to achieve." "Out of all the challenges that my soldier has faced," the angel grew a worried look. "I'm worried that this might be the most difficult." *** Wolf Peak has many tales of good and bad, but never has it struggled as much as it was right then. At this point, they're willing to take any chances they can to save their residents from evil in the forests. Even if that means trusting a new family coming into town. With clashing religions and trigger fingers, both men are in for a bumpy ride.

**WARNING: This book does have some dark themes to it that revolve around abuse, rape etc. So please do not read if these themes are triggers for you** Four...That was her name or rather number of servant she was. She arrived at the Valley pack as a child with no name and no voice just wrapped in cloth and a strange necklace around her neck. Raised by the abusive Alpha, Four did not see any future for herself. What she thought would be a death sentence from a heist gone wrong, leaving her in the Alpha King's dungeon awaiting death for treason turned out to uncover more truths and secrets than she ever expected. ********* 'I cowered in the corner of the dark and cold cell. There was nothing but utter silence around me. It was deafening. My ears perked as I heard hissing sounds come from the vent and it made me feel weak and the door to the dungeon open. I could smell something but couldn't tell what the vapors released from the vents were burning my nostrils. I could hear foot steps drawing to my cell. The lights flicked on and I squinted to see a tall and broad figuring standing at my cell door, unlocking it, and walking in. The aura this man was giving out was making it hard not to tremble. I quickly stood up and bowed. "What is your name" he bellowed kinda muffled. I panicked and quickly remembered that the guards had not checked me before putting me in here. I pulled out my speech device and began typing...I looked up for a split second just to see a fist plummeting towards me and everything became fuzzy. I could hear screams but could not make out what was being said. Everything grew darker and darker before eventually everything was all black and my world faded...' ~~~~~~~ None of the remarks made in this story are real. It is all Fiction. ©All Rights Reserved

„The sunset is beautiful, isn't it?", she asked, the sound of her voice strained, as if she hadn't been talking for a long time. The boy sat next to her, staring forward into the leaving sun. He didn't even look at the young woman when she spoke. Yet still he could feel himself, only a small part of himself, longing to hear more of her voice. It used to calm him down, singing soft lullabies whenever nightmares haunted him, or telling stories to him and his brother. It was the only comfort he could rely on. And he ended it before it could poison him. Silence filled the vast empty space. Only a single Rowan tree swayed in the non existent wind, its branches reaching down where the two figures sat, sheltering them from any harm that may come their way. It was time to leave this place again. He couldn't stay here for long. He hugged his knees tight, unconsciously swaying back and forth as he did so. Maybe, if he hugged himself hard enough, he could stay here and listen to one of her stories again? Just one short story. His efforts were in vain. He realized that when his hands and feet started to disappear, just like they have done thousands of times before. There was no way things could continue the way they were now. He knew he had to stop, but a selfish part of him was still holding onto that hope that everything would be okay once he opened his eyes. „Auntie,", he said, preparing his next words. „I... really prefer sunrises." 0101011101101111011100100110110001100100011100000110110001100101011000010111001101100101011100110110000101110110011001010110110101100101

Certainly they could trust that those in power ultimately had the best interests of the people in mind, right? ~~~ Luna slouched low in her seat, staring at droplets of water that ran diagonally down the window of the bus. The sky was a flat, depressing grey and the incessant, soaking rain left her constantly chilled. It was a typical "liquid sunshine" day in the Pacific Northwest. They drove past a single tall scraggly tree on top of a hill shrouded in mist. The creepy tree was full of screaming crows. How could she hear them from inside the bus when she couldn't even seem to hear the voices of the kids around her? Geez, that was an awfully freaking dark image. She shivered and looked away. What did they call a group of crows again? Right, a murder of crows. Perfect. The weather was certainly the only thing that was typical these days, although you'd never know it by looking around the bus at most of the kids as they sat joking and gossiping with each other just like they had before... before that day everything had changed. Idiots.
