por culpa de un fanático obsesionado con ella, tiene que mudarse del centro de Japón donde ella vivía y esconderse por tiempo indefinido en un pueblo del mismo país que es mucho mas pequeño pero sobretodo mas tranquilo, en donde se encuentra con personas dispuestas a ayudarla a superar el trago amargo.
Athena poco a poco va situándose en medio de la familia Yagami y Kusanagi, y su odio entre ambos clanes, ella se encuentra confundida con sus sentimientos respecto a ambos, sin embargo tiene que poner en orden sus emociones, y diferenciar entre a quien quiere y por quien solo siente una atracción
Al mismo tiempo ella descubre y controla sus poderes psíquicos.
sin embargo no todo es tranquilidad en este pueblo puesto que el fanático de Athena sigue buscándola y el torneo de King of Fighters es una gran pista para hallarla.
Quiero comentarles que este es un fan fic, intente hacerlo lo más apegado a la historia original de SNK, sin embargo, al ser un fan fic difiere de algunos hechos. Esta trama va a tener romances y parejas ficticias como oficiales de la saga, tiene un toque de drama y acción espero que en verdad la disfruten.

What started as a performance for a school's prom turned into an unimaginable trip to the past. A nightmare that hasn't started, a nightmare that had been corrected. She would kill herself if it meant the ones she loves won't leave hurt. She tastes like what I imagine the apple that Eve ate in the garden tastes like. Divine and forbidden. I despise her and everything she stands for. I want to burn everything around her just to watch her walk towards me through the ash crying. She's never seen genuine hatred. She doesn't know true betrayal. But even still, she's beautiful as a church demolition. The place once filled with enlightenment and comfort being crushed and destroyed-beautiful stained glass murals strewed on the ground now reflecting the moon. A work of sacred art now defiled and tainted with the blackness of the gravel. She's been subject to the abandonment and negligence, and now no one can hear her sing. Her screams are starting to sound like archangels. Truth baring, sorrowful and destructive. I love it when she cries; I feel the drums of war in the far horizon, and the names of long-dead obscure gods are murmured. I want nothing more than to demolish her and put her up on display. I want to see her truly broken; I want to show her what actual violence feels like. I want to set her entire world on fire. She might even howl and dance in the flames you never know with her. I won't let anyone else have the privilege of ending her.
