When her and her best friends all gather down at their beach houses for the summer like always, JJ has to explain to them that she's being forced to stay home alone with her annoyingly handsome step brother along with his disturbing friends. Deciding that they need to force as much summer fun as possible into her two weeks there, they throw a huge party where she meets Aidan McCarthy, the sweet, sexy guy of her dreams. They quickly fall in love but it all comes crashing down when she must return to her New York home to help her chemistry teacher in summer school. Little does she know, she's in for quite a surprise when she gets back home and discovers just what her step brother and his friends are up to.
