☾WARNING: THIS ISN'T YOUR AVERAGE WEREWOLF MEETS MATE TALE☾ There's a curse. A curse that forces my best friend's baby to grow at an abnormally fast rate. Which is odd, even by werewolf standards. One minute he's toddling around, learning how to use his potty without getting his unmentionables all over the place, next he's fully grown and causing havoc on down in high school. Tall, moody and covered in livid spots that threaten to erupt like pompeii. He stares at me strangely sometimes, as if I'm molten lava and if he gets too close then he'll burn. Then I blink and suddenly he's not a teenager anymore, towering over me with an expression on his face I can't quite describe. My insides itch and my throat feels raw. I feel an unexplainable connection to the boy that I've watched grow up in barely a few months. I don't understand it, but I know time is ticking. 730 days and counting. ☾ Watching a baby turn into a boy and a boy turn into a man, Kai is confused with all the new emotions she begins to feel and finds herself oddly attracted to the cursed boy.
