Ella Lawlette is an academic deliquent, so it's a complete mystery when she's invited to join the prestigious Fenson Heights Academy. However, the dream soon turns sour when Ella discovers that she's only there to stop fights between the vampires, the werewolves, the Faeries and the humans and join the much-hated vampire hunter's clique.
Unfortunately, Ella isn't a very courageous person would rather sleep than save the world. But her legacy pushes her, forcing her into dangerous, unwanted situations.
It isn't long before Ella ignores the vampires and begins to battle her very own ancestary.
