I looked away from his deep brown eyes, they had always been my favorite thing about him, but now, I knew if I looked into them I would give in and let him do away with his own life. "You can not pick me."
"I have too."
My voice shook with anger, and fear, "No! I am not worth it. Kill me and do your job. Its how things are meant to be."
"I can't."
"Why?"
Gently, his freezing cold fingers gripped my chin and turned my head back toward him, "Because I love you, and there is no point in existing without you here."

I never wanted love, especially not the impossible kind that never works out. But somehow, things I didn't want to happen always occurred. Whether it was getting picked to sing in front of class, or getting struck by lightening, I just attracted trouble, and always the worst kind.
Until I met him and my life turned around.
Death is meant to change your life for the worst.
Well, he changed mine for the better.
